Miziker Entertainment Group is proud to announce its selection by the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians to write, design and co-produce a new version of the spectacular show NightFire! set to open this summer in Alpine (San Diego), California. | In addition to the new visual effects, Miziker Entertainment Group is in production of an all-new show soundtrack that will incorporate traditional Native American motifs with dynamic orchestration for maximum audience impact. "Our challenge is to create the feel of an epic battle, and to do so in keeping with the traditions and customs of the Kumeyaay tribe," said Bobby Miziker, President of Miziker Entertainment Group. The Power of NightFire! will run every night in the show court at Viejas, located in Alpine, California, about 30 miles east of San Diego. |

| Miziker created and produced the original show "The Legend of NightFire!" in 1998. Since then, the show has attracted over 500,000 people a year to witness the nightly spectacle that tells the legend of an ancient Kumeyaay Indian storyteller. The show combines the natural elements of water, light, wind and fire all combined in state-of-the art special effects. Several production "firsts" are also integrated into the show including a hidden lift built in the center of a fountain that magically reveals the Native American actor, and six 25-foot high flames that shoot directly over the heads of the audience. The show won the Themed Entertainment Association’s Thea Award in 1999 for Outstanding Achievement. Miziker also designed the show facility, a giant reproduction of a Kumeyaay shelter. The new show, produced in association with Viejas Enterprises, is based on a traditional native legend. To be called"The Power of NightFire!", it tells the story of how the storyteller saved his people from the monstrous "water spirit" that inhabited the Viejas Spring. The Power of Nightfire! will feature a stunning new 65’ water mist screen that magically appears from the spring. This new effect will allow for rear projection imagery with which the show’s performer will interact. The new water screen is a large new effect that will be integrated with water fountains, flame effects, laser and lighting effects, and projected 3-D imagery digitally animated by The Jim Hensen Creature Shop located in Hollywood, California. |
